Balto, a great Jedi Knight.

Origins[]
Balto, a wolf-dog, was a legendary Jedi Knight who lived during the final decades of the Galactice Republic. He was also the instructor of the legendary lion Jedi Kovu, who later turned to the dark side of the Force and became the infamous Darth Soto.
Balto was born fifty-seven years before the Battle Of Yavin on the planet of Stewjon. As with most Jedi of his time, Balto was found as an infant pup to be Force-sensitive and taken from his family to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant to be trained as a Jedi. At age thirteen, after almost not being accepted as a padawan, he was accepted to be trained by the wise Jedi Master Mufasa.
Balto and Mufasa had many missions across the galaxy together. Sadly, however, this was cut short thirty-two years before the Battle Of Yavin, when Mufasa was slain in a lightsaber duel with Darth Scarface, a vicious blue fox who was the apprentice of Steele, the Republic's senator of Naboo, who was, in fact, the current Dark lord of the Sith.
32 BBY- The Naboo Crisis[]
In its final decades, the Galactic Republic was corrupt beyond all possible imagination. It was in this climate that Supreme Chancellor Zazu decided to place a tax on the free-trade zones of the galaxy, angering the greedy corporation known as the Trade Federation. Under the leadership of its viceroy, Nuka, the corporation blockaded the peaceful planet of Naboo, ruled by its queen, a beautiful teenage lioness named Kiara.
In order to resolve the problem, Chancellor Zazu sent Balto and Mufasa to negoiate a deal. However, upon their arrival, everything went wrong. Nuka sent deadly destroyer droids in an attempt to kill the Jedi and, under Steele's orders, launched an invasion of Naboo. Balto and Mufasa stowed away onto the planet and this is where their journey began.
